Problem Statement: Water waste and leaks in homeowners and apartment properties.

The average household’s leaks account for nearly 10,000 gallons of water wasted and 10% of homes have leaks, which waste at least 90 gallons or more per day.

Common types of leaks found in the home are worn toilet flappers, dripping faucets, and other leaking valves.

Target Audience: homeowners and properties management

Objective: reduce the water waste and its cost as well as the adverse impact on the environment (carbon emission and energy consumptions) and eventually climate change. After successfully implementing the system we would like to be able to not only forecast the user consumption and behavior, but also forecast any risk related to water consumption.

Scope of work: we should agree as a team on the project boundaries since this problem can be addressed to the billing and insurance companies as well as the government.
