Case analysis occupies an important role in the learning objectives of the module. The cases will help integrate the theoretical and practical elements by demonstrating marketing strategy and planning problems and possible solutions. The four chosen cases closely mirror the decisions organisations must make with marketing planning and strategy. In the cases, be prepared to make reasonable assumptions about missing information that you would like to use in order to arrive at a decision. The case study method involves placing you in the role of decision-maker and tackling a challenge that confronts an organisation a company. We do not expect a solitary and straightforward answer. You will need to reflect on the materials presented in the narrative and the appendices. Then consider possible theoretical explanations and then argue possible solutions to the questions being asked.
