Integrity and fairness

The Olympic Committee is interested in the integrity and fairness of its judges. Each event will have a minimum of five judges. Each judge awards a score between 0 and 10 to each Athlete. Fractional scores, such as 8.3, are allowed. Dropping the highest and lowest score received, then averaging the remaining scores determine an athlete final score. The program should include the following functions: • Function [Judges Athletes] = JudgesAthletes() should ask the user to enter the number of judges and number of athletes competing in this event and return both answers to the main program. Input Validation: the number of judges must be greater than 4 and the number of Athletes must be greater than 2. • Function [Average Lowest Highest] = CalcScore(Judges) should calculate the average of the scores that remain after dropping the highest and lowest scores. Input Validation: Do not accept judge scores lower than 0 or higher than 10. • Function [] = PrintScore(Average, Lowest, Highest) should write the average, highest and lowest score for each Athlete to the file “Result.txt”.

If the function is plotted with conventional plot function, only the real data will be plotted – the imaginary part will be ignored. Since both the real and imaginary parts of the function are of interest, both parts can plotted as a function of time on the same axis using: plot(t, real(y) ) and plot(t, imag(y) ) Plot both parts on the same axis including labels, title and legend.
