What instruments were used? How many? How were they combined?

Was there singing? How many singers? Did they sing together?
•
Were there improvisations? Did everyone improvise? Did different musicians improvise on different songs? What were they like? Were they flashy? Long? Short? Simple?

Was the form, or presentation, of every song the same? Did all of the songs have an introduction, melody, a solo section, a second presentation of the melody and then an ending? If not, what did they do?

Was the audience involved?

Did the performers talk to the audience in between numbers? Was it formal?

What was the venue like? Was it a concert hall, club, restaurant, Hollywood Bowl, or what?

Could you hear everything the way you thought you could or should? Sometimes the PA system can artificially or mistakenly boost or diminish a part or voice. What did you notice? Bass is the easiest to notice. Was it too loud or soft for your taste?

Did you enjoy the performance? Would you go again?

Since there are no in-person concerts at the moment, I’ll let you fulfill your concert critique assignment by watching
a single virtual concert
. This can be via NetFlix, YouTube, HBO, Hulu, etc. Please make sure to take care of all the items I ask for in the assignment, including providing song titles, performers’ names, concert length, etc.
