Ted Bundy and Theories Associated

Topic:

Ted Bundy was one of the most notorious serial killers and rapists in the 20th century. He’s known to have killed at least 36 women, most likely more, in the 70s. Bundy had a difficult upbringing, he was born an illegitimate child and was his mother’s secret shame. At an early age, he started to show interest in the macabre. He was a shy and quiet child which made him a target for bullying. During his teenage years, he started to peek into people’s windows and steal. He earned his psychology degree in 1972 from the University of Washington. While a student in Washington, he fell in love with a girl from California but was devastated by their break up, many of his victims resembled his college girlfriend. By the mid-1970s, he transformed himself completely; he was confident and active in social and political matters. Bundy sexually assaulted and killed several young women in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, and Florida. He escapes from prison twice in 1977 but continued his killing spree. He was pulled over by police in February 1978 which lead to his inevitable arrest. He was executed by the electric chair in January 1989.
