Letter writing
In this first essay, I would like you to write a letter to your former high school principal or high school teacher. Reintroduce yourself and explain when you were at the school and/or class you had with the teacher. In this letter, I would like you to answer the following questions:
What was your high school experience like? How did it prepare you for college?
What suggestion for making high school less boring that Mehta and Fine gave in their New York Times article would you introduce to the school? Be very specific summarizing what Mehta and Fine say about this point. Explain how it would be installed in the high school.
What other things could the high school have done to help you prepare for college?
How will your approach to your educational goals change from high school to college?
This letter must be at least 600 words. Remember, you should always have in mind the audience of the letter, the person who is going to read this letter. The other thing I would like you to consider is the construction of the paragraphs.
