– On the contrary, he reacts, sees, and learns.
– The result is a transformation — the hero grows up, chooses a new path, and determines his own existence.
– He becomes who he truly is and is serene.
– The future looks far better than at the beginning.
1) Consider to what extent this pattern applies to Juno in Juno and the Paycock.
2) Then, decide how much of the pattern suits Christy in the Playboy of the Western World.
