Real world issue of fundamental attribution error, defensive attributes

(1 pt.) Description of a real-world example of some topic/behaviour related to the course or textbook material. Is the example described in sufficient detail for the reader to understand what is it, what are its important features, what makes it a relevant example, etc.? Don’t provide a link and expect the reader to go learn about it—it’s your job to provide all of the important/relevant information in a way that is understandable to a naïve reader (i.e., someone who is not already familiar/aware).

(2 pts.) Application of theory(s) or perspective(s) to real-world example. Is the theory/perspective applied to explain/understand/critique the real-world example, or does it simple describe it? A good essay is one that goes beyond simply describing the relevance of the theory to the example, and that applies that theory to critically examine the real-world example, or to shed light on it in some unique way.
(1 pt.) Overall effectiveness and writing quality. Despite being only five pages, the essay should be written as a proper essay, with an introduction, body, and closing. Cited sources must be included in an APA-formatted References section, which is not included in the page count. The essay should be no longer than five pages, and no shorter than four. While it is possible to do an adequate job in fewer than four pages, it is likely that your essay will be lacking if it is that short.
