Huck Argument

Description: Task: Research at least 2 scholarly journal articles about teaching Huck Finn in class — specifically, focus on the controversy over the language in the novel. Compose an argument essay using the Classic model of argumentative writing presenting your opinion about whether or not it should be taught, citing at least two articles. The Research Portion Go to SMHS home page ⇒ Students ⇒ Library ⇒ ProQuest eLibrary Sign in using : sanmarinousd and Sanmarino#1 Conduct an “Advanced Search” with the following key words: “Critical Essays Huck Finn” and select “Scholarly Journals” as a source type parameter Select at least 2 articles with which you want to work — both sides of the issue should be addressed Create a Works Cited page using the citation help at the top right of each article (required for final product) The Writing Portion Use the Classic model for writing an argument paper Each section of your paper must be labeled with the Classic term followed by your writing Paper length 300 – 500 words (penalty for over/under) Submit online copy in class (essay plus works cited) Use Proquest Library Database, and look for “Huck Finn critical essays,” MUST BE A SCHOLARLY JOURNAL (login through my school library username:sanmarinousd password: Sanmarino#1 I have already written an essay however it is very weak and I want it to sound strong, have nicer diction, have nice flow, and better arguments/talking points so that I get an A.
