Leadership in the Healthcare Organization Book Leadership

In this exercise I would like for you to develop a comprehensive, yet concise, exposition of your learning from this unit (chapters 9-12), supplemented by at least four (4) additional scholarly resources (academic journals, practitioner journals, and reliable mainline business news sources (i.e. Wall Street Journal)). The framework for your work is consistent with the approach of previous integration exercises:

IDENTIFY the key concepts from the unit detailing what you now understand about the practice of leadership;
INTEGRATE the concepts (i) drawing upon unifying elements from the four chapters, (ii) rooting your discussion in the identified models and frameworks, and (iii) exploring how success measurement is reflective of ethical expressions of mission and vision and sensitive to role dynamics;
DISCUSS the challenges inherent in consistently walking the talk of leadership when theory and practice collide (consider this past week’s discussion post where ethics conflicted with expediency and, ultimately, assessments of leadership effectiveness); and
DESCRIBE your personal leadership skills development journey, identifying those skills which you now understand as critical to your own personal development. In the spirit of this learning unit your discussion here should be very practical in nature, expressing what this means in terms of your own skills development.
** Your finished paper should encompass approximately five (5) pages of content, with the majority of your focus addressing points 1 & 2. Point 3, and then 4, should be reflective, yet grounded in the concepts identified in your first two sections.
