Assignment: You are a young girl, who’s parents surprised you and your younger brother, with a 7 day Disney Cruise. But, you were behaving badly because you did not get the video games you wanted for your Birthday. What you did not know, is that your parents planned an even bigger surprise that you have always wanted… A Disney Cruise to 5 different Caribbean islands.
Take the above information and make it your own. Be creative.
1) Give your essay a title. Write in the first-person point of view and chronological order
2) Describe your experience in great detail, how you acted, felt, etc….
3) Mention characters, setting, plot, and purpose. (Remember- an incident is memorable due to the reasons, actions, or consequences)
4) Make sure your essay clearly reflects on the experiences or events revealing a life lesson or important event.
5) Must use vivid, descriptive language that shows dialogue, between the characters.
6) A conclusion that summarizes or reflects on the event or experience.
