Write a very short summary about it.
Write 4-5 bullet point critiques.
Each critique should have a 3-5 sentence argument about why the critique is strong.
Write a couple of sentences of relevant summary followed by a list of bullet points of questions or concerns about the research methodology, the author’s inferences, or any issues that jump out at the reader. Some things to consider include the following: Was the study design appropriate? Was the research question clear? What about the conclusions? Is there anything you would like to see that is not reported? Are there inconsistencies in the findings, and if so, are they accounted for in the paper? Does the article provide the evidence that the authors suggest it does? The individual exemplar reviews are due the day the reviewed readings are due (only one per week is allowed), and the final exemplar grade will be based on the top two graded reviews. The grading procedure will be discussed on the first day of class.
