Anxiety in grade school students
Decide on a question to investigate using an observational framework. This can be from online clips of behavior if needed. The behavior(s) observed cannot itself be scripted, unless this is directly relevant to the question asked.
Create a short ethogram. Define some observable behaviors which can help you address your question – remember, “say only what you see.”
Remember that you are doing exploratory research here: your question should be about natural human behavior and motivation. You must rely on the broken down ethogram to illuminate larger behavioral trends.
When you have recorded your behaviors from a sufficient sample (at least three separate observations), please transform those data into a meaningful statement about the observed phenomenon. A graph or table is likely to be useful in illustrating your findings
Explain why you asked your question, cite any pre-existing research you need to make this point, explain (probably but not necessarily in a table) your ethogram, show your results, and explain how this research contributes to the larger body of knowledge, citing a minimum of three peer- reviewed papers to substantiate your work.
