you will chose one concept from one find examples of that one concept in the media (anything published or posted from Sept 1 2020 to Oct 31 2020). There are two parts to this assignment — an artifact and a 3 page written reflection. Your artifact is something that you create — it could be a presentation of relevant video clips or a collage of pictures from news stories or social media posts — the possibilities are endless — the only requirement is that your media artifact is related to the theoretical concept that you have chosen. This artefact will be submitted with your written reflection. The second part of this assignment is the written reflection. This 3 page written piece will address the connections of your artifact to the theoretical concept – explain in some detail how your media examples help to understand/define the theoretical concept. The reflection will need to be very concise – you will begin with one paragraph defining the concept and then follow up with individual paragraphs explaining how each of the media examples helps to define/describe that particular concept.
