Value Proposition & Greatest Accomplishment/Skill
DISCUSSION TOPIC:
A value proposition is a promise, belief, idea that one product/service/commodity, or in this case individual (you) represents a unique value to others. For this discussion posting, you will construct your own value proposition by following the steps below:
1. Review the Kent article

2. Begin your initial post by briefly answering these questions as you consider your professional presence in the world of work (bullet point phrases are fine):
Who’s my target audience?
What’s my competition?
How am I different?
What benefit do I bring?
What proof do I have to support what I offer?
3. Next, write your own value proposition by answering the question: “what unique value do you represent to others that can be helpful or interesting?”
4. Respond to at least 2 of your classmate’s postings. You may comment on how this value proposition could help your classmate in the job search, or how the proposition can be further developed as a concept.
