Financial Project Analysis (20% of Grade)

○ Choose or create a healthcare organization and identify a new service line, product offering, or expansion of an ambulatory site. Describe what financial considerations must be determined and how you could justify and expense. Consider budgeting, costs, pricing, risk analysis, and return of investment. The primary focus will be on the managerial overview and justification.

○ Financial Project Analysis should be a minimum of 5 pages in length and include 3-5 journal or peer reviewed articles.

I chose Northwell Health as my organization and I want to talk about the expansion of Cardiac Ambulatory monitors for outpatient as well as Ambulatory Cardiac clinics. The financial considerations that must be determined include the payback period analysis, this will tell us how long it takes to make up for the money spent on the project. In addition, we would have to calculate the accounting rate of return, which includes the depreciation, and the net present value, as well as the internal rate of return. My project will be based on the financial importance of these products and how they can produce revenue as well as help in treatment for the people who suffer from cardiac issues.
