You have read several articles on the future of work this semester, including “7 Job Skills of the Future…,” “11 Powerful Traits of Effective Leaders,” and the McKinsey report on “What the Future of Work Will Mean…” Using information your learned from these sources, please write the first draft of a research paper on the following topic, which will be for your final exam research paper:

WHAT THREE THINGS DO COMMUNITY COLLEGES NEED TO FOCUS ON TO PREPARE STUDENTS TO BE LEADERS OF THE FUTURE?

You may refer ONLY to these articles for evidence, so look through the articles to find some advice and help in choosing WHAT THREE THINGS are most important to educating students to be leaders.

USING facts and data you have taken from AT LEAST TWO of the ARTICLES WE HAVE READ THIS SEMESTER, write a researched essay explaining EXACTLY WHAT THREE THINGS the Louisiana Community & Technical College System (to which BRCC belongs) and other community and technical colleges should be focusing on to prepare students to be future leaders.

Your final paper will be at least 1000 words, and MUST INCLUDE INFORMATION from at least TWO of the articles we have read this semester. Be SURE you DO NOT use direct quotes from the articles: paraphrase or summarize and be sure that you mention, “According to McKinsey…” or whatever your source is. Do NOT use parenthetical citations in the text but DO tell where the information is from in your sentence.
