Use ONLY primary sources FROM THE TIME PERIOD I SAID. I have attached some but you might need to use more in order to complete the paper.
In your paper you might consider the adjectives used to describe the group, the issues associated with their role in playing baseball in the United States, and how their experiences connect to themes we have explored in class. Make sure you include in your paper your ideas about why you think these groups were viewed the way they were (at least by journalists). Your paper should have a clear thesis statement in the first paragraph that frames the issues you will explore and their significance. You will be evaluated on the depth of your analysis of the primary sources (see rubric on Courses for more details). No secondary sources are required (and should be avoided).
