Fiction Essay
Now that you have read through the essay guidelines and completed your research, please write an outline of your fiction essay.
As you write, keep in mind the following:
While this is a rough plan, it should be as complete as possible. The more information you provide, the more completely I am able to comment/help
Think carefully about organization. How can you best analyze the fiction through a cultural lens while still staying true to the Question you chose to answer and the Assertion you made as your thesis statement?
Where do you plan to include quotes and what will they be? Think about how the quotes need to show specific support of your argument. Did you pick an entire paragraph when a single line is enough? Is there a better example of the point you are trying to make elsewhere in the story? Be critical in your thinking about this.
Did you include a strong set of conclusions? Will the reader walk away from this essay with an understanding of the impact of culture on this fictional work?
