For assignment 2: For this assignment you will need to explain as they relate to his health and disease risk
Results Sheet/Chart – Please input the recommended normative ranges for Mr. John Doe’s results. Then, please classify Mr. Does results based on the normative data. You must include this chart with your assignment. Mr. Does’ Chart can be found here: Mr. Doe’s Chart Summer 2020_students.docx
You identified risks in the table/chart above, now you will spend a little more time EXPLAINING them. Please explain what all his abnormal or high values mean and why it is of concern. Remember he does not know what a risk factor is so be sure to explain what that term means and why we are concerned with them. He also does not know what things like what cholesterol or blood glucose are. Then, based on his results, what diseases is he at risk for? Again, assume he does not know what the disease is, causes, signs/symptoms, and consequences of the disease.
Draw upon research articles you seek out or are provided with to give some facts about how much physical activity impacts various risks/conditions/ and reductions in mortality For example, research shows that exercise is known to lower blood pressure by xx mmHg… Focus on physical activity, exercise, and fitness improvements. While it is OK to mention diet, dietary change should be a small part of his recommendations and please use very general USDA Dietary Guidelines, or programs such as the MyPlate.gov.
Lastly, looking at his results chart, also point out, where he has good values. Explain to him why those are beneficial. Please include how becoming physically active will help to maintain or improve those values
