Evaluation Organization

In general, an Evaluation essay can be structured in a typical essay format. The key to writing this type of essay is to make sure you have several criteria for your evaluation.

For example, if you were writing an Evaluation of the movie The Count of Monte Cristo, you could have your evaluation criteria be characters, character motivation, and plot changes from the book. You also want to make sure you have a claim about your topic. For example, perhaps your claim is that the film version of The Count of Monte Cristo does a better job of meeting Hollywood expectations of revenge but misses out on the nuances of personal growth that are present in the book.

It is recommended you have at least three criteria, but you may have more.
