Conservation of Boreal Toads in Western Regions
This year my professor has been taking points off like never. He just goes drastically from first paper of abstract 80 to 70 to 60 methods and I have gotten sick and given up. I am close to dropping this crap and have been given opportunities at New York and Delaware with academic scholarship for graduate entrance.
I need a lift to bring my average to a B so I can stay in remain in their program because that was their GPA requirement.
Conservation of Boreal Toads in Western Regions for Response to the Chytrid Fungal Infection, Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd)
Basically, what I’m supposed to do is compare Southern Rocky Mountains of Colorado and Utah and evaluate how temperatures in winter and fall are causing boreal toad extinction in Colorado for Anaxyrus boreas. You then will elaborate why Utah’s boreal toads are tolerant to the disease and not becoming extinct. You will find articles from google scholar of other researchers as this is a proposal. The dependent variable needs to be toad population or susceptibility to the disease, the independent variable is temperature, and the control is Colorado & Utah.

General guidelines
Length: Plan to write 9-15 pages single spaced for this proposal.
Style: Write clearly and succinctly as possible but also keep in mind that a thesis proposal explores topics more deeply than a research article published in your favorite journal. For example, whereas an article may state they use method A, in a thesis proposal, provide citation and justify why method A is an appropriate choice for your study. The thesis document, therefore, connects the dots a little more than a journal article.
Citation and references: All references must be in-text cited. References must be between the years 2015-2020.

Rubric: The grading rubric provided gives details aligned with each section of the proposal we have reviewed in class. It is a good summary of the elements of the proposal.
