Diabetes (Type 2)

Define the Diabetes (Type 2)disease and identify the nutritional interventions, treatment, causes and implications of the disease

A brief discussion of the disease itself should be included but should not be the focus of the paper. The following are the topics and questions that must be discussed within your paper, where applicable:

How does an individual’s diet affect the cause and/or progression of this disease? Detail important nutrients.
How can diet and nutrition be used to prevent this disease? Detail key elements of the diet.
What other elements of a healthy lifestyle can be used to prevent and treat this disease?
How can diet and nutritional therapeutics be used to treat, manage, or cure this disease?
What public health policies and campaigns, if any, have been used to emphasize the importance of nutrition in this disease? Include, if available, information on any private or public organizations that work to assist individuals with this disease.

Format:

Paper must be double-spaced, font size 12 on with 1” margins.
Papers should have a title page including topic of paper, your name, class section and the date.
Papers must be a minimum of 7 pages – not including your title page and bibliography.
