In order to receive full credit for this assignment, you must complete the discussion post on time and you also must respond to two of your classmates on time.

Your initial response to my post must cover all of the following:

1. Let’s Get to Know You: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why?

2. The “Intro Paragraph” PowerPoint demonstrated 5 different hook strategies. Use the following prompt to practice two different hook strategies from the “Intro Paragraph” PowerPoint: “Should the legal drinking age be lowered to 18?”

4. The Key and Peele skit “Text Message Confusion” is about the importance of tone. Why is it vital that we think about tone, specifically this semester? How can we help to ensure that our readers are reading the tone correctly?

7. Write a discussion question for your classmates that fits with this week’s She Would Be King readings. Remember that discussion questions should be open-ended and should not have simple answers.
