BEHS 343 Parenting Today

Please carefully read my part one and part two documents as well as the part 3 instructions. This is a continuation of two pages (which are attached)

Instructions:

Faculty, please note that you have a choice: Lot in Life or the new and updated Research Paper. Please see the syllabus, faculty notes have been provided for this assignment.

In 4-6 pages, describe your action plan for dealing with your Lot in Life. As part of your solution you should explain how your research on the topic has guided your plan of action. Contact at least two local community agencies (not just Web sites) that can help provide information, training, or support for the problem. Include specifics on how to contact the agency, what services they have available, and how much these services cost. If you include WWW sources for your background research on this topic, review the guidelines about evaluating Web sources given earlier.

Describe any obstacles or challenges that may prevent your plan of action from being successful.

Conclude your paper with a reflection of why you chose this particular Lot in Life to study and how your research of the topic has influenced your views of parenting.

Your paper should have a cover sheet that lists your name, the BEHS 343 section number, and the scenario you have chosen. Your paper should be double-spaced and use a standard font (e.g. Times New Roman, 12 pt). Be sure to include a reference list at the end of your Part 3 assignment.

The other two papers (Setting the Scene and Research) should be pasted in at the end of your solution paper.

A sample Lot in Life: Solution is attached for further guidance.

This course uses Turnitin, a software tool embedded in the online classroom to support the development and assessment of academic writing, including ensuring the authenticity of student work through a Similarity Report that highlights any matching areas in your paper found in another submitted paper in the Turnitin repository using a range from 0% to 100%.

The use of Turnitin in this class is different than how it may have been used in your other classes in that there is no need to create a separate account. You only need to submit your assignment within the classroom. Shortly after you submit your assignment you will receive helpful feedback to improve your writing from within the Turnitin software tool.

In this course, the following assignments will be reviewed using Turnitin:

• Lot in Life Part 1: Setting the scene
• Lot in Life Part 2: Doing the Research
• Lot in life Part 3: Solution

You can submit your paper to Turnitin multiple times before the assignment due date. Once you submit your assignment to the Assignment folder, your paper will be submitted automatically to Turnitin generating a Similarity Report. When a Similarity Report is available for viewing, a similarity score percentage will be made available that can be accessed from the Assignment folder by selecting the Submitted link located under “Completion Status” or by clicking the View History button. Assignments should not have a Similarity score higher than 30%.
