Select a legal consideration for public relations. Find a recent event involving this legal consideration. How was it handled? What do you think needed to be considered?

Part 2. Respond to these next two numbers with a couple sentences.

1. Public Relations has a lot that they need to deal with and they seem to have a high stress job. I know one company that has faced a lot of criticism even though a lot of people use this company to make purchases, Amazon is an amazing company to buy from since they have almost everything you can imagine but they do have quite a few issues. Amazon has a warehouse near where I live and due to COVID-19 they state they are taking precautions to protect their employees but a lot of employees kept getting sick and from what was reported is that Amazon knew about the positive COVID-19 employees and didn’t advise the other employees right away. Amazon wanted to hide what they did and tried to state that they wanted to keep everyone calm and working but was trying to up the safety equipment. Despite what amazon did, a lot of people were upset and fed up with their lies and Amazon just went on with their business and didn’t take much notice or did much changes. Employees still went to work despite the working conditions and if they didn’t like it Amazon had new employees ready to work. As much as I love amazon they didn’t handle the situation very well and just wait til things die down and sweep it under the rug.

2. Hello professor and class, The legal definition of consideration is based on the concept of a “bargained-for exchange.” This means that both parties are getting something that they’ve agreed to, usually something of value for something of value. A recent incident that stands out to me which legal consideration is significant is a popular rap group sued their record label sighting excess funds were being used and they had been cheated out of millions of dollars. The record labels PR obviously disputed the allegations and tried to keep the record label viewed in a positive light to the public. After months and months of legal disputes the rap group and the record label came to an agreement regarding funds, royalties and rights to their music. Each party was left with music rights, as well as monetary gain from the suit. It is my understanding that this is an example of legal consideration because all parties involved ended the ongoing legal battle with the group as well as the record label receiving something from the deal. Which seemingly leaves both parties satisfied and a prime example of legal consideration based on the definition.
