Research on Current Topic

Becoming an experienced researcher and writer in any field or discipline takes much practice. Few individuals find that this process comes naturally. Even the most seasoned academics had to learn how to write a research paper. Diligence, organization, practice, patience, and a willingness to learn will ensure that you achieve quality research and academic writing skills.
Keep in mind that this is not a narrative and therefore requires a more formal and professional style of writing.
This research paper is open-ended. You may choose to research any topic that is of interest to you so long as you adhere to the following parameters:

Use academic writing that adheres to APA style
Use in-text citations and a reference page that adheres to APA style
Use at least three (3) scholarly references such as journal articles and books, Wikipedia and information from websites that are not credible may not be used
6-8 pages in length (not including the references and title pages)
Format your document as follows:
Compose document in Microsoft Word
Use 12 pt font such as Times New Roman or Arial
Use double spacing and 1 inch margins
Create a Title Page
Insert a footer to include the assignment title and your name
Insert page numbers in the footer
Use section titles for the introduction, body, and conclusion
