Communication and Ethics Paper
Read the reading first, understand deontology, consequentialism, virtue ethics, contractualism and legalism, ethical codes, cosmopolitan ethics. Write the paper based on these ethical theory frameworks.
Write a 3-page paper describing an ethical issue that you have encountered at work, school or any other organization. I would prefer if the situation caused you personally to have ethical concerns in an organizational or group setting where you lacked the full agency to act. Describe the situation, why it caused ethical concerns and how it was (or was not) resolved. Would you handle it differently in retrospect? Categorize the philosophical approach (deontology (basic duty or contractualism), consequentialism, legalism or virtue ethics) that you or others used to identify the ethical problem and/or solution (it can, of course, be a combination of approaches). You should feel free to mask or alter any names or other details in order to protect confidentiality.
