Interpersonal perception is the process of making meaning from the people, experiences and the relationships we encounter. The perception process includes selecting stimuli for attention, organizing it into relevant categories, and interpreting meaning. Psychological states and traits, cultures, co-cultures, and social roles all influence the accuracy of our perceptions.
Please reflect on the film, The Human Experience, and comment on how the perceptions of the brothers in the film changed as a result of their experiences, comment specifically on how the perception of their father changed. Did their self-concept change? Why or why not, clearly explain and support your answer by supporting your comments with citations from your text. Additionally ask yourself if you believe that their self-esteem changed as well and state why or why not.
