Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Programs

Part 1:

Make sure that you have completed the online activities for Juvenile Delinquency Prevention. Additionally, we talked in great detail about using programs shown to be effective. In addition to the Blueprints for Healthy Youth Development, another initiative to evaluate the effectiveness of programs is the National Institute of Justice’s CrimeSolutions.gov. Read the fact sheets from CrimeSolutions.gov for three programs we discussed in class: Nurse Family Partnership, Scared Straight, and Multisystemic Therapy (linked below).
