First, please complete the “Index of Learning Styles” using the link below. Once completed you will receive a representation on where you fall on four dimensions of this particular “model” of learning styles (it is not the same as the one on the Smarter Measure assessment). You will need to screenshot, copy, or photograph your results and submit in the assignment (rich content editor) box. Next, after reviewing your results and the linked handout that describes these learning styles, write a reaction/reflection that includes how the results might benefit you as a learner. Identify your “styles” and give personal examples. If you do not feel there is a benefit of knowing these styles then explain why (be specific). You may also compare this model with other models of learning styles you have evaluated if you like.
Disclaimer: While we all use all the learning “styles” some students have extreme preferences. It is important to acknowledge that you can and will learn regardless of your preference. Research does not support that teaching styles must match learning styles for there to be a difference in learning gains.
