Proposal Paper
For your Pedagogy Proposal Paper, you will do a 1-2 minute online presentation of your proposal idea. This should bet set up like a TED Talk (here’s a sample

). Basically you would state your big idea, explain how you would implement it, and then describe why it would work. You can set up your idea be describing your problem before segueing into your solution.
Assignment 2 : For your final paper in English 120, you will be required to write a proposal. This can take one of two formats. You can propose a modification to my method for teaching English 120. You could suggest a course theme, a type of paper assignment, an in-class activity, or anything that you believe would cause students to be more successful in English 120. Given the requirements for English 120, the assignment would have certain expectations (page lengths, APA formatting, etc.), but beyond that, your proposal can focus on any theme or issue that you would like.
